Site Open Day - August 27th, 2007
The weather was great and we had 115 visitors. We raised £280 for the
Croydon PDSA. One of the highlights of the day was the Scarecrow Competition This
had a tremendous response from our members and there were 17 scarecrows on display.
Congratulations to all who took part and who let their creative instincts run
wild and put a lot of work into coming up with interesting and amusing exhibits.
Someone had to be chosen as a winner and in the end June Ageyman (plot 69) gained
that distinction. Below are some examples of what was on display.
