The Society was formed in 1972 and manages about 146 plots at the South Croydon site. The standard sized plot is 10 rods (approximately 250 sq. metres) but half sized plots and plots of other areas are also available.

Want a Plot?
The site and trading hut are open every Sunday between 10.00am and 12.00 noon (except during December and January) when you are welcome to walk around the site and talk to existing members. If you are interested in taking on a plot then contact us. Currently (February 2010) there are no vacant plots and we have 50 people on the waiting list, which means you will probably have to wait about four years to get a plot if you join the waiting list now. However, you can join the society as an associate member for an annual membership fee of £2.50, which allows you to purchase garden supplies at very competitive prices from our trading hut.
